The Lodge is located in the Venice Marina at the very southern tip of Plaquemines
Parish Louisiana near the mouth of the Mississippi River within minutes from the
Gulf of Mexico. Some of the finest inshore and offshore fishing in the world is out
of Plaquemines Parish Louisiana in and along the Gulf of Mexico. Also, Venice Marina
is only a pleasant 1 hour drive south of New Orleans.
We specialize in offshore and inshore charter fishing. Offshore our boats target Blackfin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Snapper, Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Grouper and Cobia. Inshore charter fishing for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder and Bass is second to none.
We are fortunate to be able to fish for most of these species year round. The limits on Redfish and Speckled Trout are very liberal compared to our neighboring states. We are allowed 5 Redfish and 25 Speckled trout per person per day. So, whether you want to chase Big Tuna or Big Redfish, Venice Sportsman’s Lodge is the place to book your next charter fishing adventure.
During the winter months Venice Sportsman’s Lodge offers other options besides Red fishing and Tuna fishing. Our Duck and Goose hunting offers thousands of square miles of prime habitat. So, schedule your hunt so you can hunt in the morning while fishing Redfish and Speckled Trout in the afternoon.
